Wenlock White Table
The members of Wenlock lodge 6093 bounced back into action on Wednesday with an extra meeting. Many of the younger members were keen to get back into the swing of things as they have been away from their fellow brethren for so long .
The Worshipful Master, W Bro Peter Wale, was keen to to grant the members their wish so asked the Secretary to arrange this extra meeting. Luton Masonic hall company were superb with the Covid Precautions and every one felt very safe and happy.
The meeting was a white table meeting with 15 of the brethren attending and 24 dining including wives and partners. The new caterers at Luton were well received and delivered a lovely meal.
The Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W Bro Martin Wilson was the star of the evening delivering a superb lecture on the work of the Masonic Charitable Foundation entitled ‘The MCF – Building Better Lives’. This nicely dovetailed with the 2026 Festival and he was delighted to present many of the attending Brethren with their Festival Jewels.
The brethren also took a collection with all the monies being donated to the 2026 festival. A superb evening with a very heart warming power point presentation on the MCF. 1st Class Martin !
