Joining Bedfordshire Freemasons

Join us

We always welcome new members who live, work or study in the Bedfordshire area and wish to become Freemasons. We have Lodges that meet in Ampthill, Biggleswade, Dunstable, Kempston, Leighton Buzzard and Luton.

How do I become a Freemason?

Becoming a Freemason isn’t difficult, in fact it is quite straightforward – you do not have to wait to be invited. If you wish to become a Freemason and join a Lodge then simply start an application by completing the enquiry form.

What you can expect from us

Our Membership Charter sets out the process and timescale standards for your enquiry. You can view our Membership Charter here.

Bedfordshire Freemasons welcome enquiries from anyone with a disability who is interested in becoming a Freemason

We would be delighted to meet with you to answer any questions you may have and discuss the accessibility, facilities, and suitability of any of our six Masonic centres.

We are proud to have members with a wide range of disabilities and have worked closely with them to ensure they are able to enjoy the friendship, support, and opportunities that Freemasonry has to offer.

‘We believe that Freemasonry should be open to everyone, and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments wherever possible to support individual needs.’

If you would like to find out more, please contact us to arrange an informal meeting with one or two members of our team. We will be happy to discuss your individual requirements and help you explore your journey into Freemasonry.
