Down Syndrome Support
Around one in every 1,000 UK babies are born with Down Syndrome – a syndrome caused by an extra chromosome, and commonly linked to learning difficulties and other medical conditions.
The DSDT is using the MCF’s £8,000 grant to support children and young people with Down Syndrome and their families. From sports and music sessions to language therapy to a parental support advice line, they’re here to help.
