A new Bus for Wanderbus!

On Friday 21st November, Bob Curson and Steve Joyce journeyed to Shefford to visit the operational base for Wanderbus to see for themselves the bus the Bedfordshire Freemasons recent £5000 grant had assisted in funding.

On arrival they were met by Clive Lester of Wanderbus, who greeted them most enthusiastically and who expressed his sincere thanks to the Bedfordshire Freemasons for their support.

Clive then showed them the latest bus and was pleased to note that the “Supported by Bedfordshire Freemasons” branding was prominently displayed on the new vehicle.

Steve and Bob, both soon learned that the Community Transport Services provided are delivered by volunteers and that Wanderbus, a not for profit organisation, was always keen to attract willing helpers.
