Stability & Spontaneity – A Memorable Saturday for Panmure 715
Panmure 715, Lodge and Chapter, enjoyed a superb Saturday 6th December, with two excellent meetings filled with tradition, learning, and festive cheer.
Chapter

The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent for Bedfordshire, Nick Edwards, delivered an engaging presentation of the Grand Chapter Certificate, followed by a lively discussion on sharing the ritual and bringing extra colour and drama to our ceremonies.
Lodge

We were delighted to welcome Bro Danas, initiated in true Stability workings style. Panmure remains the only Lodge in Bedfordshire—and one of very few in England—to uphold this unique and historic tradition.
Festive Board
The Panmure 170-year-old tradition continued in full regalia with great food, good company, and plenty of Christmas spirit. The Provincial Grand Master wore an apprentice apron as a touching reminder of the unity we all share.
Highlights included Hugh Hiluk’s spontaneous Apprentice song, a heartfelt thanks to the catering team, Bob Curson’s warm toast to visitors from across the country—followed by Bro Hiluk’s reply and a gift basket of Norfolk’s finest produce for the Provincial Grand Master!
The evening closed with the Tyler’s toast and a cheerful Merry Christmas to all!
