“Three Wise Men” follow a Star at Bedfordshire Installed First Principals!
A wonderful evening was enjoyed at Bedfordshire First Principals, where the Chapter celebrated the installation of three new Principals in great style.
After two busy, fun, and charitable years as First Principal, Terry Thurley passed the baton to Bob Curson, who was installed as 1st Principal. Tony Henderson took office as 2nd Principal, with Steve Joyce becoming 3rd Principal.
The evening continued with a packed meeting enjoying a fascinating talk by Barry Pyle on the construction of Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street.
The Chapter was also delighted to welcome David Hampton, Grand Superintendent of Hertfordshire, as a joining member.
Adding to the spirit of charity, a generous £500 donation was presented to the Three Sojourners to support their remarkable walk from Bedford to Jerusalem (and back!). They’ve already accumulated more than 12 million steps, and thanks to the tremendous support of Companions and guests, an impressive £5,000 has been raised so far.
Here’s to friendship, learning, and making a meaningful difference together.
