Bedfordshire Brethren Attend December Quarterly Communications
Some almost 30 Bedfordshire brethren journeyed to London on Wednesday 10th December to attend the Quarterly Communications of Grand Lodge.
The Grand Temple was to say the least standing room only with 1700 plus attending from around the world and country, the meeting was presided over by Jonathan Spence the Pro Grand Master who welcomed all.
The meeting was an opportunity for the new “one journey tie” to be unveiled and can be seen “modeled” by our very own Provincial Grand Master Nick Edwards and Clive Walsh!
Also of note was an update on “Portal” which confirmed the current enhancements and eventual goals of the system, very much a modern and secure approach to communication.
After which in true Bedfordshire style the brethren “retired” for refreshment and a light luncheon, which involved much laughter and “signing” of carols into the afternoon!
An excellent visit enjoyed so much by all!
