Red Ted Visits Bedfordshire to Mark 21 Years of the TLC

Red Ted visited Bedfordshire on his tour around all the Provinces to celebrate 21 years of the TLC scheme.

As you can see in the video below, he had a really great time;

*Teddy on Tour – Day 4* Red Teddy really enjoyed his trip to Bedfordshire, not only did he get to visit the lovely Woburn Abbey, he also got to see the 30,000th TLC bear being donated to Bedford Hospital. Head of Bedfordshire Freemasons, Anthony Henderson presented the bear to Matron Christopher Munsey. What an amazing achievement! The staff at Bedford Hospital told Red Teddy how the TLC bears are used by Nurses and Doctors to calm children down, reward them for being brave or to demonstrate procedures. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Bedfordshire has been supporting the TLC scheme since 2002 and has provided TLC bears to Bedford, Luton and Dunstable Hospitals as well as the East Anglian Air Ambulance. After a busy day, Red Teddy had to fly – literally, by drone to his next stop in Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire.
