Manor Court Lodge – A Memorable Evening at Ampthill
The recent meeting of Manor Court Lodge proved to be a highly successful occasion, with over 80 members and guests in attendance, including an official visit from the Provincial Grand Master, Nick Edwards.

A key highlight of the evening was Alex Smith taking his Second Regular Step in Freemasonry. He answered the customary questions with confidence and accuracy, contributing to a ceremony delivered to an exceptionally high standard by all involved.
The meeting also saw the introduction of the Manor Court Founders’ Travelling Gavel, generously presented by founding member Robert Rainford.
In recognition of his continued support, Robert was also elected as an honorary member of the Lodge.
The Travelling Gavel is a welcome initiative, aimed at strengthening ties and encouraging visiting between Manor Court and other Lodges.
The Lodge was presided over by the Master, Michael Dye, whose assured leadership ensured the smooth conduct of the meeting and added to the overall success of the evening.
