Biscot and Warden Lodges come to the aid of The Pavilion!
The members from both Warden and Biscot Lodges volunteered to carry out essential maintenance to the Bowling Green at the Luton Centre, on Saturday 25th April, aided by some glorious spring sunshine!
This is much needed replacement of the edging of the Bowling Green lawn to preserve not just the edging but to keep it safe for all.
The Pavilion manager Steph Meyrick wrote:
“I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who volunteered their time and effort this past Saturday to help improve our centre.
The transformation is genuinely impressive. What was once a worn and deteriorating boundary has now been restored into something solid, tidy, and fit for purpose. The before and after difference speaks for itself, and it’s a real credit to the hard work, teamwork, and pride you all brought to the task.
See here for a short video of the chaps hard at work!

Projects like this make a huge difference not just in how our centre looks, but in the sense of shared ownership and community that keeps it thriving. Giving up your weekend to contribute in this way does not go unnoticed, and it is very much appreciated.
There is still time to get involved if you would like to help with the ongoing improvements. By entering in our Cash prize (just pick a number for £20) or come down and help a hand if you can.
Thank you again for your time, energy, and commitment. Were fortunate to have such dedicated members.
Thank you so much.”
More work is planned on Saturday 2nd May!
