Bedfordshire Freemasons Strengthen Support for the Royal British Legion

In keeping with the longstanding military connections of Bedfordshire Freemasonry, Chris Sharwood-Smith has been appointed as Provincial Lead for the Royal British Legion. Chris will liaise with the Royal British Legion and coordinate activity across the Province.

There are many ways for Freemasons and others to get involved and support this important work. Volunteers are needed for a range of activities, including collecting with donation tins, providing transport, assisting with logistics and administration, and helping to count donations.

Whether you can give a few hours or support in a more regular capacity, every contribution is valuable. Even a small amount of your time can make a significant difference to the success of the appeal and the support provided to those who have served and their families.

A promotional leaflet explaining the importance of the event and why supporting it is particularly relevant to Freemasons is available to read here. It provides a useful reminder of the strong links between Freemasonry, the Armed Forces and the wider community, and is well worth taking a few minutes to read.
