Light Blues Toy Run Initiative

Giorgio Ruggiero, Secretary of Bedfordshire’s Light Blues, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Bedfordshire Freemasons following the successful completion of the planned “toy drop-off.” Thanks to their remarkable generosity, more than 130 toys have been donated to the Toy Run Initiative in support of the Children’s Ward at Bedford Hospital.

“Your kindness will bring joy, comfort, and excitement to so many young patients and their families,” Giorgio said. “Your support has made a truly meaningful impact on our community.”

A special acknowledgment was extended to Biagio de Michele for his exceptional effort and commitment in ensuring the success of the initiative, especially given the short time available to organise it. His dedication and enthusiasm played a crucial role in bringing the project to such a positive conclusion.

Giorgio added, “This has been a highly successful project, and we are now planning to roll it out across the Province for Christmas 2026.”

He concluded by thanking everyone once again for their continued support and for helping brighten the lives of children and families during their time in hospital.
