Dear Brethren

It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing to the Grand Lodge above Brother Andrew Charles Smith on 31st of January 2026 (82).

Andrew was initiated on the 16th of November 1984 in Sandye Lodge L8820.

Brother Andrew had not attended lodge for several years and sadly in recent times been battling with Prostate Cancer since his diagnosis in 2018. Although having resigned in 2025 he always believed in the ethos of Masonic purpose and was proud to be a Freemason for 41 years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
