Bedfordshire Freemasons Supporting Domestic Abuse Charities
Lockdown may be easing, but thousands of people are still confined to their homes with their abusers. Domestic abuse charities are working harder than ever to shelter and re-house vulnerable men, women and children, and Freemasons across the country are committed to to making sure they can continue their vital work.
Provincial Grand Lodge of Bedfordshire has donated £5,000 to fund essential food, clothing, bedding and toys in refuges across the county.
In Herefordshire, Freemasons have donated £1,000 to West Mercia Women’s Aid to furnish two newly acquired houses.
Devonshire Freemasons have donated £3,000 to Stop Abuse for Everyone to fund the increased demand for telephone and video counselling for adults and children.
