Brother Philip Douglas Carroll

Dear Brethren,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the sudden passing  on 22nd June 2026 to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and Comp Philip Carroll of Ivel Lodge no.6846,  aged 62.

Phil was a well regarded, regular attendee and liked member of Ivel Lodge.

He was initiated in January 2015, undertook his second degree in November 2015 and raised in April 2016.

Subsequently he occupied all the Lodge offices through to Chair and became Master in 2022.

Phil was Charity Steward in 2021 and again for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Phil was exalted into Ivel Chapter in April 2018.

He also raised monies for charity by running various marathons over many years and as a foot health practitioner he donated time to a regular clinic for the homeless.

He will be truly missed by all within Ivel Lodge.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. I will arrange a condolences card to the family on behalf of yourself and the province.
