Bedfordshire Freemasons Host and Celebrate the Summer Ladies Luncheon

A record number of guests attended the Provincial Ladies Luncheon on Sunday 21st June 2026 at the Cross Keys, Pulloxhill. Held in the Paddock Marquee overlooking the Bedfordshire countryside, the event provided a wonderful afternoon of friendship, laughter, and shared memories.

Hosted by Assistant Provincial Grand Master Steve Attwood and his wife Anna Marie, the luncheon brought together Ladies  and guests from 22 lodges, offering a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.

Steve thanked Provincial Grand Almoner Mike Fitzgerald, Lodge Almoners, the Provincial Grand Stewards led by Sean Hinson, Provincial Grand Secretary Tony Green, and Jacqui Smith for their invaluable support in making the event such a success.

A special tribute was paid to Andrew Routledge for his outstanding service at the past 14 Ladies Luncheons and his six years as Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Guests also enjoyed excellent entertainment from Simon Barter, while Mrs Diane Ingle gave a heartfelt response on behalf of the ladies, thanking the Province and Lodges for their hospitality.

Reflecting on the day, Steve Attwood said: “It was a very rewarding and humbling experience meeting and talking with all of our ladies. They all had a wonderful time and were very pleased to have been invited.”
