Chris conducted an excellent installation ceremony, with all those taking part receiving warm acclaim for their contributions.
The meeting was attended by Steve Attwood, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, who congratulated the Lodge on a memorable evening. He also conveyed the best wishes of the Provincial Grand Master, Nick Edwards, who was away on a well-earned break, adding that he had remarked beforehand that this was a meeting he was sure Steve would enjoy, which had proved just so!
The occasion attracted many visiting Provincial Grand Stewards from neighbouring Provinces, along with many members and other visitors created a splendid atmosphere of friendship and fun,
With the warm summer weather, and with many in attendance, the air-conditioned environs at the Luton Masonic Centre were especially appreciated!
In his remarks, Ian said he was deeply honoured to become Master of the Lodge and looked forward with great pride to representing Bedfordshire Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards by visiting similar meetings across neighbouring Provinces during his year in office.
The evening concluded with an enjoyable festive board before everyone stepped back out into the summer warmth.
