Worshipful Brother Geoffrey John Brook

Dear Brethren,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and Comp. Geoffrey John Brook PProvGSwdB on 15th of February 2026 (93).

Geoffrey was initiated on the 26th of January 1974 in Old Dunstablians Lodge L5974, he was installed as Master 1986, serving as Charity Steward 2001 – 2005 and as Junior Warden 2016-2017.

Geoff was Exalted into Dunstable Chapter C6092 on the 22nd of June 1977, he resigned in 2016.

His first provincial appointment came in 1995 to PProvJGD, followed in 2001 to PProvGSuptWks and finally to PProvGSwdB in 2010.

Geoff served Freemasonry for an amazing 52 years in the Craft, and Royal Arch Chapter 48 years, Geoff passed peacefully in a care home with his family at his side.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. I will arrange a condolences card to the family on behalf of yourself and the province.
