The BEDA Boys Deliver for Bedfordshire
On the Monday before Good Friday, Provincial Charity Steward, Steve Joyce, was delighted to visit Bedford A&E, Luton & Dunstable A&E and Keech Hospice in the company of the Provincial Secretary, Tony Green, and a sizeable contingent representing the BEDA Chapter of the Widows Sons.
These visits are to deliver our Provincial donation of Easter Eggs to those unfortunate enough to visit Hospital over the period. This donation was topped up this year by a generous donation of eggs by the BEDA Chapter members who have established a relationship with Keech Hospice and through their own donations keep Keech topped up with TLC Teddies.
Sarah Goodale of Bedford A&E commented: “It was lovely to see you and the bikers today. The A&E Team always looks forward to your visits, and staff had great fun sitting on the bikes! We would just like to say a huge Thank You to you, and all Bedfordshire Masons for the Easter Eggs you delivered to us this morning.
The Team will handout the Easter Eggs to our Paediatric patients from Good Friday, the Easter Eggs will definitely cheer up the little ones when they come to A&E over Easter.”
