Summer Barbecue Season Gets Underway!

Members of Ampthill Lodge No 2490 and Elstow Lodge No 8759, got together this weekend for a joint social and BBQ.

The members were joined by family & friends, at Clophill Village Hall, to enjoy great company and some excellent food washed down with a glass or two of Pimm’s.  With the weather being so fickle, the socialising took place indoors, so naturally most of the rain that was forecast stayed away!

As you might expect, there was a bumper raffle to round off the afternoon which raised over £400 for charity.

All in all, a great team effort.
