Meet the New Provincial Organist
The Province of Bedfordshire is delighted to announce that the new Provincial Grand Organist is W Bro Gary Sieling.
Gary was born and raised in Bedfordshire, a former pupil of Dunstable Grammar School, he is the current Master of the Old Dunstablians’ Lodge. He taught music at a number of schools in Bedfordshire and was organist of All Saints Bedford and Dunstable Priory before moving to Peterborough Cathedral as Assistant Organist. He is the Founder and Director of the chamber choir ‘FineChants’ which recently sung at Brussels, Cologne and St Paul’s Cathedrals. He works as a freelance organist, harpsichordist, conductor, adjudicator, examiner for the Royal College of Organists and is currently Director of Music at St-Giles-in-Reading, where he now lives. When not making music, Gary likes to mess about on the river on his narrowboat.
We very much look forward to hearing Gary play in person, but in the meantime here are a few videos to whet your appetite;
