Manor Court Lodge – Triple Initiation Success
Manor Court Lodge enjoyed a memorable evening in November with a rare triple initiation, welcoming Alexander Smith, George Sims and Rodney Collett.
With 74 Bedfordshire Freemasons present, the ceremony ran flawlessly thanks to the excellent work of Alex Prior and Greg Horsford, supported by Craig Gillespie.
The Lodge was honoured by the presence of Deputy Provincial Grand Master for Bedfordshire, Martin Wilson, who praised both the ceremony and the lively Festive Board.
Highlights included word-perfect ritual delivered by Chris Devereux, and equally impressive deliveries from Brandon Whalley-Nicholson and Jeff Cox, and a charity raffle raising £420.
A special presentation was made to Tony Green on his stepping down after 10 years as Lodge Almoner.
A touching tribute was also paid to the late Richard “Dick” Degnan, whose dedication to the Lodge and Ampthill Masonic Centre will be long remembered.
