A Memorable Morning at Meridian Lodge
Bedfordshire Freemasons and visitors attending the morning meeting of Meridian Lodge at The Keep were treated to an excellent Third Degree ceremony, with Bro George Fouhey duly raised to the Degree of a Master Mason.
The Lodge Master, Graham Stewart , was in great form and oversaw the ceremony with confidence, ably supported by his Lodge Officers. It was a memorable ceremony and a fine example of teamwork within the Lodge.
The surprise of the meeting came with the presentation to David Castella, the Lodge Secretary, of his 50-Year Certificate in Freemasonry.
The certificate was presented by Tony Green, Provincial Secretary, on behalf of Nick Edwards, Provincial Grand Master.
The presentation was made with genuine warmth, affection and good humour, and was clearly greatly appreciated by David.
Following the meeting, everyone retired to a well-supported and suitably “warm” Festive Board, where excellent refreshments were enjoyed in equally good company.
With two new joining members also welcomed, the continued popularity of Meridian Lodge is a testament to the friendship, fellowship and warm welcome extended by the Lodge to all who visit.
