Lovells Bury, Bringing Home the Beef

Lovells Bury Lodge No. 4018 brought their Masonic year to a splendid finale last week, by initiating another new Brother and entertaining nearly 80 members and guests at their annual “Butchers Night” Festive Board.

Before being carved and served by the Lodge Stewards, the roast joints were paraded around the dining room serenaded by everyone singing the traditional “Roast Beef” song.

Being the eve of St Georges Day, there really was a lovely English feel about the whole occasion.
