Lodge of St Peter No. 6092 a Closing to 79 years of Masonry
Wednesday 4th December, after some 79 years since the lodge was consecrated, witnessed the last meeting of the Lodge of St Peter 6092.
The meeting presided over by the Master of the Lodge Richard Baker, at which the lodge voted to surrender its warrant and close.
The Province, was represented by the Provincial Secretary Tony Green, who supported a meeting of reflection, good humour, dignity and decorum.
As a final tribute to all, the lodge, having donated some £12,500 to the Bedfordshire Province 2026 Festival voted to distribute all remaining funds totalling some £34,000 to many national and local charities, including some £11,355 to Keech Hospice Care.
A most fitting conclusion to the memory of all members present and past.
