Graham Redman – The Grand Master’s Order of Service to Masonry
This week at the UGLE Quarterly Communication, much to the delight of the many Bedfordshire Brethren in attendance, our very own, Graham Redman was awarded the prestigious Grand Master’s Order of Service to Masonry and promoted to Past Junior Grand Warden.
This prestigious honour is the highest honour the Grand Master can confer on any member as an acknowledgement of exceptional services to Freemasonry. It is limited to only 12 holders and Graham is now one of only eight current holders of the Order.
Bro Graham was initiated in 1973 in Bedford, in his school Lodge, The Old Bedfordian Lodge No.4732 and is also currently a member of Mercury Lodge No 7289, amongst others.
Graham is known personally to many of us and by reputation to many more across UGLE and overseas. Not just for his exceptional service to the Craft and many of our Companion orders, but also for being the author of Emulation Working Today and Masonic Etiquette Today, two books that any self-respecting Mason will be familiar with.
RW. Bro Graham, many congratulations on your preferment. So very well deserved.
