Old Dunstablians an Initiation and a 50th!

The Old Dunstablians meeting of Saturday 7th June witnessed the initiation of Alistair Fawcett, the ceremony for which was carried out by the  Master of the Lodge, Spencer Wisdom  and his officers Darren Ball, Mike Phillips and Phil Turner to an exceptionally high standard.

The meeting was rounded off, by Stephen Atwood Assistant Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Bedfordshire, presenting a 50 year certificate to Roger Shaw.

Roger was originally initiated in Greenwood Lodge no. 1982, Surrey, and eventually  became Master of the Lodge in 1984, the Lodge sadly handed their warrant back in 2012, he also joined  Cestreham Lodge no. 6674, Buckinghamshire, and in 2019 became Master. Receiving Provincial Honours from Surrey in 2000.

Finally Roger joined Old Dunstablians in 2022. He is also  keen member of the Royal Arch having been through the Chairs of Bedfordshire Schools Chapter no.5794, and supporting them further by going through the offices a second time.

The meeting reflected the great circle of the Masonic journey.
