Graham Fulford Trust Awarded £25,000 Community Grant – PSA Testing

As a result of petitioning by the Bedfordshire Province The Graham Fulford Trust was awarded a £25,000 grant from the Masonic Community Grant Fund.

The Trust supports the Province with PSA Testing twice a year  in both the Bedford and Luton, the next testing day is on 16th May 2026 at Bedford.

The Provincial Grand Master, Nick Edwards, was delighted and said “I am again so grateful to you and everyone involved in this bid for getting us where we are.  Just brilliant!

Our team who liase and make the testing events happen are quoted as saying:

“Brethren, family, and friends.  You should consider having a PSA blood test because it can help find prostate cancer early before symptoms appear. When prostate cancer is detected at an early stage, treatment is often more successful and may prevent the cancer from spreading. The test is simple—it only requires a blood sample—and it can provide helpful information about your prostate health.

Our PSA testing is open to men over 40 but may be especially important if you are over age 50 and have a family history of prostate cancer. The event is social, so you are encouraged to stay for a cuppa and a biscuit…”
