Farewell 2023, Welcome 2024

We’ve come to the end of yet another successful year at the Masonic Charitable Foundation and couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of Freemasons, their families and friends.

During 2023, your generosity has enabled £6.8 million to be awarded to local and national charities through 451 grants to support both elderly people at risk of isolation as well as disadvantaged children and young people.

It also enabled 4,297 grants totalling £12.7 million, providing support to Freemasons and families impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.

It allowed the MCF to extend their mental health support services to include children and grandchildren of Freemasons aged 5-16, as well as the existing support for adults.

£1.2 million was made in grants to support relief from efforts global natural disasters.

What’s next?

In 2024 the MCF will continue to focus on reducing isolation in later life and creating the best start in life for disadvantaged children and young people. We will also support medical research into degenerative diseases and fund care services in hospices.
