Consecration Celebration for the Britalia Garibaldi Lodge

Bedford enjoyed a fabulous day (and evening) yesterday at the consecration of the first new Lodge in Bedfordshire for well over a decade. Due to the numbers attending the event was held at Bedford’s Corn Exchange, which transformed from a theatre style lodge room during the day to a spacious area for the Italian feast of a Festive Board.

Bedford is home to the largest concentration of Italian families in the UK, and the Britalia Garibaldi Lodge celebrates the influence Italian culture and traditions have had on the town and its population. The Lodge already has a long list of proposed initiates and joining members and will be a must visit Lodge for those who enjoy their Freemasonry with an Italian twist.
