Bedfordshire Centenary Fishing Lodge 9151 – Fundraising Evening

On 29th October, BCF Lodge 9151 (MTSFC) held a highly successful fundraising evening, organised by  Richard Frood and kindly hosted by the China Express restaurant.

Guests enjoyed a plentiful and delicious Chinese buffet, which was much appreciated by the 57 attendees. Everyone — ladies, gentlemen, and brethren alike — were in fine spirits throughout the evening, sharing laughter, fun, and lively banter.

Entertainment included a raffle, a rye whisky auction, and the ever-popular “£1 keys” challenge, where guests tried their luck opening a locked box containing yet more whisky!

Generous donations from Absent Brethren added to the total, helping to raise a fantastic sum of over £1,100.

This outstanding result puts the Bedfordshire section in an excellent position for the start of next year’s fishing days, supporting local schools for children with additional needs.
