Bedfordshire Brothers Support Santa Run for Keech Hospice
Last Sunday morning proved a great opportunity to support the Bedford Santa Run in aid of Keech Hospice, held on the Embankment.
Following a surge in late entries, Keech Hospice made a last-minute request for additional support, to which Bedfordshire Freemasons readily responded. Their assistance helped marshal over 500 Santas as they completed the 5km run, raising well over £22,000 for the charity.
With Keech Hospice being his chosen charity for the year, James Wootton, the current Master of Russell Lodge, was pleased to offer practical support on the day. He was joined by Santa’s perfect little helper, Bill Appleton, and helped ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully.
