Bedfordshire 2026 Festival Presentation

Two Zoom meetings took place last week to accommodate representatives of every Bedfordshire Lodge for a presentation by the MCF and 2026 Festival Executive. Following an introduction from the PGM, Paul Crockett from the MCF gave a talk about the MCF, its history and what it had achieved in its five years of existence – and how Bedfordshire had benefited during that period of time.  He went on to explain how important the Festival system is to the success of the MCF.
The meeting was chaired by the Festival Chairman, Bob Curson, who gave details of how the Lodge and Provincial targets were set.
The Deputy Chairman Martin Wilson then took the Lodge Festival representatives through the Festival dedicated pages of the website, demonstrating how easy it was to make payments and the different methods that could be used. He also showed the Frequently Asked Questions section, Lodge and Individual Honourifics as well as the pages showing background information to the Festival.
It was reiterated that Bob and Martin were available to give talks on the Festival to individual lodges, and that several lodges had already taken advantage of this to good effect.
Very positive feedback has been received from both sessions, and excellent progress has already been made towards our target despite the fact that the Festival has yet to be officially launched!
