A well attended PSA testing morning at Bedford
Ken Evans has kindly reported the following:
The recent PSA screening event proved a great success, with excellent support from Brethren across the Province and an atmosphere that was described as more social than clinical.
Special thanks were expressed to everyone who attended and those who helped make the day run smoothly, as pictured above.
With members of the Provincial Executive of Bedfordshire Freemasons attending the event all were especially pleased to welcome the Provincial Grand Master for Hertfordshire Neil Connolly lending his support too.
Notable among the Bedfordshire Masons attending was Bhavesh Shah, past High Sheriff of Bedfordshire and now and a serving Deputy Lieutenant, along with the Provincial Almoner, Mike Fitzgerald, who also took on the role of “David Bailey” for the day capturing photographs, and the Provincial Grand Stewards whose efforts once again ensured the smooth organisation of the event.
See the pictures here!
A total of 125 tests were booked, with 121 completed and only four no-shows.
Of those attending there were some 48 members of the public, which was most positive.
The results breakdown was:
- Green readings: 101
- Amber readings: 13
- Red readings: 7
A full summary from GFCT is expected shortly and will be shared when available.
One member of the public who attended took time to write a few words of thanks as follows:
“I attended the PSA testing yesterday at the Keep. This is the second time I have been for a test however it was the first time I had visited Bedfordshire Freemasons.
I would like to pass on my thanks for the efficient system you had in place & for how welcoming everyone was. I would have stayed for some tea & pastries however I was working a night shift so needed to get back home!”
