A crackling day out for Wrest Park Lodge!
On a gloriously sunny September day Wrest Park Lodge held a ‘Pig Roast’ at the White Hart public house in Maulden in the hopes of raising funds for their supported charities which did not disappoint!
Live music with a succulent feast accompanied by plenty of jovial company was well received by all, amongst those charities benefiting from the days takings is the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust for Prostate Cancer –Since 2004, GFCT has been involved in testing over 131,984 men and conducting 238,966 tests so far [9/8/2023].
Consequently, there have been over 2,500 known cancers identified that otherwise may not have been discovered.
