It’s a Father and Son Evening at St John’s

As the calendar completes another cycle, St. John’s Lodge proudly celebrates yet another milestone with its second installation of a Lewis with WBro Christopher Watts installed his son Bro. Chris Watts as Worshipful Master. This momentous occasion was marked by a ceremony filled with sincerity and reverence, reflecting the lodge’s unwavering dedication to its timeless traditions, and was watched over by the late departed WBro Vic Watts, Father and Grandfather, who would have been extremely proud of both of them.

This follows last year’s installation meeting when W Bro Brian Benson installed his son Gary, and next year Ben Horrell will take the chair in the presence of his father Noel.

The festive board that followed was nothing short of spectacular, with over 50 distinguished attendees gracing the event. The Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Mike Freeley, was in attendance, together with 6 Grand Officers and 6 Active Provincial Grand Officers from Bedfordshire. Additionally, the gathering was honoured by the attendance of distinguished guests from Buckinghamshire, adding to the sense of prestige and camaraderie. This remarkable event served as a fitting conclusion to an extraordinary year, symbolising the continued growth and unity within the Lodge.
