Worshipful Brother Brian William McIntosh

Dear Brethren,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the sad passing to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and Companion Brian William McIntosh on 5th of September 2025 (81).

Brian (Mac) was initiated on the 12th of November 1986 in Wrest Park Lodge L8514, and  installed as Master in 1997.

He served as Director of Ceremonies 2001 – 2004, Tyler 2005, Treasurer 2009 – 2017 and again from  2018 – 2020. He resigned in 2024 due to poor health.

Mac was exalted into Manor Court Chapter of Ampthill C9096 on the 20th of November 1998, he resigned in 2024.

Mac’s first promotion came in 2002 as  PPrAGDC, in 2010 he was  appointed to an active office as PrSGD and promoted to PPrGSwdB in 2016.

He served the Province for 38 years in the Craft and Royal Arch Chapter 26 years.

Mac loved his freemasonry, was a very respected member of his lodge, and will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. I will be sending a card of condolences to the family on behalf of yourself and the province.
