The Unbreakable Bonds of Friendship in Action!

John Dudgeon of Sandye Lodge recently found himself facing a new challenge. Due to mobility issues, he now relies on a mobility scooter to get around. However, his gravel driveway made entering and exiting his home extremely difficult — a source of daily frustration and limitation.

Attempts to have driveway grids professionally installed proved unsuccessful. That’s when  Dave Stevenson, a close friend and fellow Mason, stepped in and put out a call for help.

In a shining example of Masonic brotherhood, members of John’s mother Lodge, Sandye, answered without hesitation. A team of dedicated Brethren came together to resolve the issue and ensure John could regain his independence.

Special thanks and recognition go to: Dave Stevenson,  along with Mazza, James Lees, Martin, Humphries and of of course an Ian Dudgeon!

Thanks to their hard work and unity, John can now easily drive in and out of his driveway, once again enjoying his mobility and freedom.

This act of kindness and teamwork is a testament to the strength of our fraternity — proof that when a Brother is in need, the bonds of friendship that tie us prevail.
