Leighton Buzzard twinned with Christchurch

Bro. Nick Aris, a Past Master of All Saints Lodge 8776, moved down to Christchurch Dorset a few years ago but still retained membership All Saints Lodge. Nick has also continued his Masonic involvement by joining a Lodge and Chapter near to his new home, but recently travelled back to Bedfordshire to take the chair for an excellent Third Degree.

Nick was accompanied by a fellow Hampshire IoW Mason, Bro. Raul Menchelli, of Via Lucis Lodge No. 8228. The brethren of All Saints were surprised and delighted to receive a gift from Raul in the form of a hand-made set of Gavels and Blocks to be hung in the dining room at the Gables Hall. Bro Raul commented that he had made and presented the gift to thank All Saints for their welcome on a previous occasion and to cement the harmonious link between two Lodges and two Provinces, established by Bro. Nick.

Bro. Raul, seen here on the right, presented the gift to the current Master of All Saints, Bro. Andrew Munford and the two remaining founder members of the Lodge, Bros. Ron Vaughan and David Cato.
