A visit to Prince Michael of Kent RMBI Care Home
The Province of Bedfordshire has kindly funded the purchase of a Treadmill to help provide much needed exercise support for the Residents of Prince Michael of Kent RMBI Care Home.
At the kind invitation of the RMBI, Mark Harwood, accompanied by Simon Barter, visited the Home on Sunday 28th July to test out the new equipment and also assist with fortnightly Sunday afternoon tea time entertainment.
The Treadmill sits in the exercise room and Simon made sure that Mark “road tested” the equipment much to the amusement of those watching!
In the past the home has been supported by Lodges across the Province, it the nearest to the area, with a number of Bedfordshire Lodges being Friends of Prince Michael of Kent, which is gratefully appreciated by the RMBI.
The home very much welcome the support of any brethren who would wish to give some of their time to help with the fortnightly Sunday afternoon tea.
The smiles and welcome from the residence in seeing new faces made the whole afternoon really special.
