A Memorable Initiation at St Andrews Lodge No.803 with visitors from Belgium!

The regular meeting of St Andrews Lodge, held on Thursday 2nd October 2025, was a particularly memorable occasion, marking the Initiation of  Mark Lewis.

The ceremony was made even more special by the presence of  Mark’s uncle, Pascal Aerts, who travelled from Belgium to witness his nephew’s initiation.

Pascal, distinguished by his red apron, was accompanied by two brethren from his own lodge,  Vincent Santerre and  Tom Vanobbergen.

Lodge Master, Daniel Beach, conducted the ceremony with great skill and dignity, supported by his officers, all of whom delivered ritual of a very high standard. Their combined efforts ensured that the Initiation was  memorable.

The lodge was also honoured by the attendance of Steve Attwood, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, escorted by  Claudio Fuccillio.

Our overseas visitors expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome extended to them and the exemplary standard of the ritual, noting with interest the differences between our working and their own.

The festive board that followed was enjoyed by all, rounding off an evening that exemplified the true spirit of Freemasonry—brotherhood, hospitality, and excellence in ritual.
