Earl of Courtown Lodge Welcomes its 60th Master

The Earl of Courtown Lodge held its annual Installation Meeting at Dunstable Masonic Centre on Tuesday 15th September.

Assistant Provincial Grand Master Steven Attwood, escorted by the Director of Ceremonies Andrew Routledge and Provincial Deacons John Stenton and Phil Adams, were treated to a wonderful ceremony as outgoing Master Simon Barter brought his very successful year to a memorable conclusion by installing Master Elect Cezar Tan.

In a particularly moving ceremony, Cezar was installed as the 60th Master of the Lodge, and made history as its first Filipino Master.

With his infectious smile and enthusiasm, Cezar soon had the whole Lodge smiling with him as he confidently invested his team of Lodge Officers for the year ahead.

Steven Attwood congratulated Cezar, the Lodge Officers and all the members on the excellent way in which the Installation had been conducted, and wished Cezar every success for his year in the Chair.

It was a fitting celebration of the Lodge’s history, while also marking an exciting new chapter under its 60th Master.
