Brother John Albert George Longstaff

Dear Brethren,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the sad passing to the Grand Lodge above of Bro. John Albert George Longstaff on 31st of December 2025 (93).

John was initiated on the 26th of January 1977 in Stuart Lodge L540 resigning in 2011.

John served Bedfordshire freemasonry for 48 years.

 Unfortunately, health difficulties prevented lodge attendance for many years, but John continued his membership and was always keen to know how the lodge was doing.

John passed peacefully at home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his son John Jnr and the family at this very sad time. I will arrange a condolences card to the family on behalf of yourself and the province.
