Worshipful Brother Philip Adrian Bedford

Dear Brethren,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the sad passing to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and E. Comp Philip Adrian Bedford on 20th of June 2025 (77).

Philip was initiated on the 26th of April 2013 in Clifton Hundred lodge L9242, he was installed as Master in 2019.  He held the offices of Assistant Director of Ceremonies 2022 – 2023 and then Almoner 2022 – 2024.

Philip was Exalted in Ampthill Chapter C2490 on the 26th of May 2016, installed as Joshua 2024.

Bro Philip serviced the Province for 12 years in the Craft and Royal Arch Chapter 9 years.

Philip a retired School teacher was on holiday with his wife in Norfolk when he unexpectedly suffered a heart attack.

Philip was a very respected Freemason and Companion, a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Sarah and the family at this very sad time. I will be sending a card of condolences to the family on behalf of yourself and the Province.
