Sir William Harpur Chapter No 2343, On The Up.
It was a special evening at Sir William Harpur Chapter No 2343 this week, where it was evident that the Chapter has turned a corner. After a number of difficult years, the Chapters reinvigoration plan, combined with the efforts of all members, is starting to bear fruit.
This was evident during a very enjoyable meeting which saw Giorgio Ruggiero, the hard-working Secretary of the Light Blues Club, exalted in a ceremony overseen by his good friend, Sean Hinson, who temporarily stepped up to the 1stPrinciples Role.
Following this, Sean was formally Installed as 1st Principle, becoming the first, first-timer for eleven years to occupy the senior chair in the Chapter.
Bedfordshire’s Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Nick Edwards, was in attendance and congratulated all members on their success and for facilitating such an enjoyable evening, evidenced by the presence of nearly 50 Companions.
