60 Not Out – W Bro Alan Vale

At the meeting of Duo Fraternitates Lodge on Saturday, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master attended to present Worshipful Brother Alan Vale with his certificate and lapel pin to mark sixty years of service to Masonry.

The APGM, Worshipful Brother Hugh Love, entered the Lodge and immediately took the chair, much to the surprise of those present.

Worshipful Brother Hugh then explained that a member of the Executive only really took the chair when they had come to discipline or admonish someone!

He then went on to say that Worshipful Brother Alan Vale was correctly dressed but incorrectly embellished – and proceeded to then correct this by affixing a sixty year lapel pin to his jacket, following which he read the certificate and a brief resume of Alan’s masonic career.
