Worshipful Brother Robert Anthony Barker
Dear Brethren,
It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and Companion Robert Anthony Barker, PPrGSwdB, on 12th of November 2024 aged 87.
Robert was Initiated on the 27th of November 1969 in Lodge of St Mary L3654, became Master in 1981.
Robert was Exalted into St Marys Chapter C3654 on the 13th of April 1973.
His first provincial appointment was in 1988 to PPrSGD and then in 1995 promoted to PPrGSwdB.
Robert served Bedfordshire Freemasonry for 54 years in the Craft, and for 51 years in the Royal Arch Chapter.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Moyra and family at this very sad time.
