W Brother Robert William Uff – Updated

Brethren,

Bobs funeral will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday 28th May, at Bierton Crematorium, Aylesbury HP22 5BY. There will be refreshments afterwards at Tilsworth Golf Club, Dunstable Road, Tilsworth, LU7 9PU.

Brethren wishing to attend should contact W. Bro Steve Attwood via wenlock6093@outlook.com  so he can advise the family for catering purposes.

Dear Brethren,

It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing to the Grand lodge above of Worshipful Brother & Companion Robert William Uff PPrJGW, peacefully at home, on the 11th of May 2024 (89)

Robert (Bob) was initiated on the 10th of October 1970 in Wenlock Lodge L6093, becoming Master in 1981 and Almoner 1992 – 1995.

Brother Bob was Exalted into St Mary Chapter C3654 on 1st of April 1977, resigning in 2001.

Worshipful brother Bob’s first promotion was to PPrGStB in 1989, followed by PPrSGD in 1995, PPrGSwdB 2001 and finally in 2015 PPrJGW.  Bro Bob supported the Province of Bedfordshire for 53 years in Craft Freemasonary and Royal Arch Chapter for 47 years.

Bro Bob had a stroke over 20 years ago and from then, sadly suffered with poor health. Speech and mobility became difficult in later years, but he still managed to attend meetings until 2021.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Margaret and all his family at this very sad time.

I shall of course send a condolences card on behalf on you, The Provincial Executive and Brethren.
