Supporting Armed Forces Reserves Day
Bedfordshire Brethren, headed by the Provincial Grand Master Tony Henderson, were joined by members of our Armed Forces Reserve this morning to show them our appreciation.
Refreshments were served followed by a visit to the Keep roof to fly the Armed Forces Day Flag. Major John Whatley DL, the County Colonel and Captain Ian Cutting were present with members of our Army Reserve. We all returned to the Stuart Lounge for more refreshments.
On view were a fine array of military kit and equipment kindly displayed by W. Bro Simon Cole, W. Bro Ian Church and W. Bro Basil Hirniak of the Beds and Herts Regimental Association. A very enjoyable occasion was had by all with thanks to the DPGM Clive Walsh, Jacqui Smith, W. Bro George Konstantinidis and The Keep. Also, a big thank you to everyone who attended especially the members of our Armed Forces.
