Mercury double celebration!

On Saturday evening the now Worshipful Brother Richard Reynolds was installed into the chair of King Solomon according to ancient custom at Mercury Lodge, what made this night even more special for Richard was that he very proudly and emotionally appointed and invested his father Bro Robin Reynolds as his Junior Warden!

The night got even better for Richard as he managed to see the Springboks lift the Rugby World cup!

This was not the only  celebration of the evening for the lodge – Mercury being the God of messages and communications – the Assistant Provincial Grand Master – Worshipful Brother Hugh Love was pleased to deliver a very special certificate to Very Worshipful Brother Graham Redman from the Provincial Grand Master Anthony Paul Henderson  congratulating him on his 50 years in the craft, VWBro Graham the Deputy Grand Secretary  is known to many as the foremost authority on masonic etiquette and the constitutions of the order as well as most other masonic matters.

A fantastic night for the lodge with  plenty of visitors to add to the friendly and fraternal atmosphere.
